1. No direct-linking pictures off the web. Use photos from photo buckets or sites that allow direct-linking.
2. Use standard English. EJ is for fans worldwide. Don't use slangs or abbreviations [example: wuts/ whats]. There are many members and guests whos first language is not English. As a courtesy to them and to everyone who visits the site please use standard English.
3. No profanity. Keep your words at a PG level. If you desperately need to curse please censor your words. Not all words can be censored (such as in some articles, interviews, etc.) please excuse these areas.
4. When posting News and Articles be sure to include it's source!!!

TOPICS: Please make a descriptive topic title when you start a thread. [Example: Look at This!/ Johnny on Rolling Stone Cover!] Also, do not make topics that already are posted or generally have no purpose, if you do your thread will be deleted.
PLACEMENT: There are categories. Please use them.
SIGNATURES: Please do not have a large signature. Use signature avatars, text, or small icons. Do not use actual photos.
SMILIES: Please do not abuse the smilies, in other words do not put over 5 smilies per post. 1 or 2 should express your emotion just fine.
JOHNNY'S CHILDREN: Please warn your fellow fans that a photo of Jack and Lily will be included in your thread or post in the subject line or topic title.

Please remember to watch your spelling, grammar and abbreviations. Lazy English and Instant Messaging/phone text lingo is not appreciated by anyone and doesn't help our many members who speak English as a second language. Please try and be as clear and precise as you can when posting. Remember to spell check your work using an online spell checker or MSWord and ALL CAPS is not to be used when posting comments. Ensure that you do not double or triple post. We have a handy edit feature to edit any comments back into a post if you can.
